yea, i noticed that with that guys gti. except he had about 3/4 of his engine all over his garage. ill probly head down to a VW dealer, its probly cheaper than audi. otherwise ill head to a tuning shop that specializes in vw's and audis... that guy said he can get me one if i cant get one. he said he can probly get me it for less than 17$ so if the dealer asks for more than 25 ill go to him... ecs has the green top for 25....

 

You won't find an ects for less than $25 after shipping. Well, maybe, but probably not. Just make sure if you go to a vw dealer to get one from a passat that has AEB engie code. I'm sure you knew that though.

ok, question... yesterday that guy told me, if i had a boost leak, i would hear air blowing out as i was making boost.... i was going down the road and i was boosting 10, and i heard a loud blowing noise. i turned off my radio and heat. and it sounded like it was some air leaking, either that or my intake... now i thought that the stock airbox was sealed and didnt make noise, i took of my shortram a while back and put the stock airbox back on... is that sound normal?

 

also is the duralast one that autozone sells good or crap? im still going to the dealer, but if the 1 autozone has for 6$ is actually worth it. then why the hell not.

 

ok ECS has the ECTS for 24.99, i didnt want to wait, so i called my local Audi Stealership... 44.99 after tax.. i was like uh ok..... so like i said yesterday i was going to go to a VW dealer... went there with the Audi price in my pocket waiting to see if i was going to get ripped off... VW dealer has it for 34.67. bought it, and im going to have to install it tomorrow when its not raining.. i cant believe the difference in price for the same part...
