my car is talking to me
so my car has been making this weird cricket sound noise. i originally thought it was either my exhaust rubbing on my axle or something. i checked the entire underside, nothing. you can hear it in the cabin, but if you put the windows down its pretty loud. it ONLY does it when im in gear, not touching the gas. if i touch the gas in the littlest bit, push in the clutch, or put in it neutral it stops. it has however done it a few times even with the clutch in. its definately with the rpms, not the speed so its something in my tranny, or my clutch/flywheel. i just pulled my starter, im not too sure if its the culprit or not. any ideas? it almost sounds like an old sqeaky accessory belt

possible, maybe the input shaft? it has to be something before the power gets to the actual gears, but i dont understand why it would stop under any power. if i hit the gas enough to go from 29HG to 28HG it stops
just put it in over the summer, southbend stage 2 and a spec alum flywheel. i dont do launches or anything. the flywheel looked brand new, the old clutch failed due to it being a non sprung disc. what would happen if one or more of the pressure plate bolts loosened?
