Eh, a ground, the wiring harness or perhaps the ECU itself, I'd say...

Hmm, that's a good point, though it could still be the things that I listed. Maybe you let it run really low on fuel one time and it grabbed a bunch of crap from the bottom of the tank and screwed up your injectors? Wouldn't explain the other stuff though.

I'd say start by cleaning the EGR with carb cleaner... Perhaps the IAT stuff as well. Maybe try Sea Foam through a vacuum hose.

well me personally i never let my cars go below 1/4 tank... as for the previous owner i have no clue lol... and i tried the seafoam stuff once already and nothing came out... no big white cloud no fancy smoke show or anything

so idk... im thinking this is gonna start costing too much money lol

I'm not 100% on this one, but I believe someone once told me that the EGR actually puts a small amount of exhaust back into the intake to make sure there isn't too much oxygen in the air/ fuel mix in order to prevent detonation. If you have a problem there, it definately sounds like you could be in for some expensive trouble if it's not fixed soon. Mike and Devil would probably be able to give you the best advice on this one...
