Default my guess is its the battery

ok so this morning i got out to my car to go to school and it was a lil chilly about 17 degrees i think and the car took a little longer to start then normal im pretty sure its the battery but just makeing sure cuz it looks like its the original battery so it would be about 8 years old and 136000 mile on it.

i wouldnt worry if it just happened once, if it becomes a routine, then i'd look into it.

Start car, pull the positive or negative cable off. If it dies its the alternator, if it runs its the battery. I wouldn't worry on a 17degree day happening once. As the previous poster saidif it happens often worry.

it rules out the alternator. thats the point of that test, or call CAA or Autozone they have testers that will test that equipment for you.
