Notmally I don't get on asking the rookie questions but I am
Completely stumped. My turn signals and cruise control refuse to work. My first step was to replace the relay that worked for all of 2 days or maybe 3 and went out again I replaced my stalk today and still no luck turn signals and cruise will not work I'm completely lost

What year, etc is your car? Please make a sig with the info. Some cars have a brown module above the glovebox for cruise control. Solder joints can crack and shut it down. There's always a chance that's what's taking out the cruise. Did you use a brand new full combi switch or a used one? Used can be bad...

Took it to a shop today for them to tell
Me they don't know what's wrong while charging me 100 dollars... For nothing. Guess I'll have to buy actual new parts starting with the relay again. And sorry I thought I had one made its a 98 2.8 fwd

How does your turn signal not work? Do your hazard lights work? It almost 90% of the time its the hazard relay.

As for the cruise control. I've owned the car for 5yrs and I only got mine to finally work yesterday. I did what Jeremy said about the soldering trick in the cruise control module. I read that if you don't hear a "click" when turning on your cc, then you can almost rule out a vacuum leak.
