Cool Is my seat powered

I have an Audi A4 1.8 litre turbo 2001. The passenger seat is very difficult to move forwards or back and I have suspected for a while that it is supposed to be electric. It just feels like I am manually moving a powered part. My wife has enormous difficulty moving it with her bad back.
How do I find out if this is meant to be a powered adjuster, and if so how do I control it (or fix it)?
Cheers.

I may be missing something here, but does the seat have *****, levers, and handles, or buttons?

My seats are incredibly hard to move as well. They are manual with power lumbar adjusters and I have been meaning to grease the tracks for months now but have been entirely too lazy.

Default is my seat electric

It has a lever at the front just like any other car. You pull this lever up and then force the seat forward or back with your body weight. Yet it is very hard to move in either direction, so hard that I suspect that it was designed with an electric seat movement system in mind.

If you have the levers, you don't have powered seats...

Haha yeah it's normal, not electric. Mine's a complete bitch to try and move forwards and backwards. There is a stupid lever on the right side under the front of the seat.

Well you should have 2 levers, one makes it so you can slide back and forth, the other raises or lowers the seat height. The lever on the outside should be to move back and forth, lever on the inside for up and down.
