Hey there, I was wondering if you guys could help me identify a part in my engine. A whole was chewed through one side of it (by rats I think), and I jerry-rigged a temporary fix with glue and electrical tape. I'd like to get a replacement part but I'm not sure what it is called. I've circled it in red.

its a check valve, rats didnt chew it, it wears out over time with rubbing against ****.
you can pick them up at ecstuning.com or the dealership, or look in the classifieds for ppl parting out their cars.

Note that the check valve on the second picture has 3 openings and the one n first picture only has 2.
