I got a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro with 124k miles, I am about to do a spark plug change but dont know which one i should get and how many of them. I am also wondering how can i get a better Gas mileage, everytime i drive the car its showing 9.8-22MPG on the LED display.

yeah. its a 5mm allen head. two per coil pack. its a 5/8 spark plug socket i think. I would just use the NGK iridium that comes in the car. and i dont see it necessary to unplug the coil packs. just the little ribbed tabs holding down the wires.

Walk in, tell them you need NGK spark plug for an '01 Audi A4 1.8T. Take the ones they give you (only a couple bucks each) and go install them. (You only need 4 of them).

Since you're tuning up, might as well change the oil if it's been a while (synthetic, of course) and check your air filter.

124K miles, might also be time for a new Timing Belt. Do you know when the last time it was changed? This is a little more in depth than a "tune up" but is some critical maintenance that can't be ignored.

you need to get yourself a repair manual. bentley makes a really good one. it'll tell you where things are with pictures and give you a how-to. your MAF is inside your airbox. make sure you use MAF or electronic cleaner or you'll damage the MAF
