hey guys I got my b5 a couple of days ago...It runs and drives ok but there are a coulple of issues i need help with

(1). The odometer shows INSP when i start it up and doesnt show the mileage, but just the trip meter. The insurance and oil change sticker shows it around 160k kms but i'd like to know for sure.

(2) the fuel gauge fluctuates between R and the actual fuel level..so it goes from being full to very low, and does so back and forth...Very annoying especially when it beeps.

(3) The heater smells like gas especially when I'm stopped. But when I move, it doesn't smell. I need an urgent fix for this cos my girlfriend gets nauseated by the smell of petrol and I don't want her throwing up in my car lol especially winter is coming so soon.

Please help me out guys.

 

Next time you post, need to know WHAT KIND OF B5? WHAT YEAR??
