Default Need help with ABS system codes

I just bought a 2000 A4 quattro. The ABS light was on when I bought it. Vag has no trouble communicating with the control module, but I get these codes:

On Controller 01:

18014 - Rough Road/Engine Torque Signal from ABS: Electrical Malfunction
P1606 - 35-00 - -

On Controller 03:

00287 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Right (G44)
30-00 - Open or Short to B+

00285 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Front Right (G45)
35-00 - -

00647 - ABS-TICS / Engine: Electrical Connection 2
35-00 - -

I pulled off the ABS sensor on both passenger side wheels and cleaned them. The front right (G45) code went away, but the rest stayed. Reading some other forums, people said to check the connection of the module under the rear seat (which I think controls the ESP). I had a 97 A4 a while back and I remember that module. This car doesn't seem to have it though. Does that mean that this car doesn't have ESP? Anyhow, what should I try next?

The first code usually has to do with the MAF sensor, as strange as that sounds. It gives a direct signal to the ABS control module for some damn reason and causes that fault code when it goes wacky. I would get some MAF cleaner and give it a good cleaning and see if that code goes away.
As for the ABS wheel speed sensors, you need to monitor the wheel speeds using the vag com in the brake control module. I believe its between data block 1-10. Just scroll down until you see the four wheel speeds. Drive the car, if they don't all don't read exactly the same you have a bad sensor.

I got the 18014 code when my ABS module was on the way out. Your brake warning light flashing by any chance?

No, the brake warning light doesn't flash, and I have no problem getting VAG to communicate with the ABS Controller, so I hope it isn't on its' way out.

Default Finally hooked up to Vag while driving...

So I finally hooked up to my VAG while driving. I get a wheel speed reading on 2 of the tires (#1 and #3) but nothing on the other two. Also, the VAG freezes once the wheel speed reaches 21 km/h. Any ideas?

i would start by replcaing the speed sensors in question. look at the abs rig also to be sure there is no damage there.
