I was having EPC light coming on oaccasionally as well as warm restart problems. I have recently changed my ECT sensor.
Warm restart problems seem to have dissipated.

I still have EPC light coming on with vibration from lane dividers, and other things on the road.
I was able to read these codes, first time I am using vag-com:

17704 - Error in Mapped Cooling System (usually temp Sensor or Thermostat)
P1296 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18047 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1639 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate
18041 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1633 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
17796 - Internal Control Module Malfunction
P1388 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17977 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1569 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

I will reset the codes and see which ones come back.
What do these mean? Any suggestions what to do next?

 

I had my accelerator pedal--which includes sensor--replaced for acceleration sensor codes about 7 months ago, looks like I still have similar codes.
P1633....Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 Signal Too Low
P1639....Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1/2 Range Performance
It may be that a cable they did nto replace is the real problem.

Not sure what this one is:
P1569....Switch For CCS Signal Faulty

code p1296 cooling system malfunction is still there past ECT replacement.
