Let me guess, your ecu is stock? Do you even have a tune?

with the turbo and injectors you will need an ecu tune to compensate. the stock tune will run with the new turbo but you aren't getting the full potential out of it, that is why it runs ok on the old injectors. when you put the bigger injectors in the ecu does not have a program to compensate...

I figured he would toast the motor since its significantly bigger than a k03s and the ECU doesn't exactly understand that.

We are NOT DSM's. You can not just slap on a mbc, $26 of crap from home depot, bov, 18 zipties a big turbo and injectors and run 12s

Correct. For 500cc injectors the fuel map would need to be lowered allowing the same amount of fuel to be sprayed into the cylinder at idle and off boost as the stock injectors were spraying. With out that correction to the fuel map there is just way too much fuel being sprayed into the motor then the ecu can adjust for and causing misfires and the ecu to throw a "Rich" code since the fuel trim numbers are going to be maxed out at 25%.

i did talk to the guy that i got the injectors from and he originally said my ecu would handle them i didn't think so but since he owns and audi performance shop he knows best right. but he talked to his software guy and he told him he is dumb. lol so they are currently building me a custom tune for my car and the injectors. requires a 3 inch maf housing so there goes $750 but thank you all for your input. but i do have another question i have the tiptronic so should i build that next or start upgrading engine internals ie; pistons cams and valve springs

Well that shows you, just because someone owns a preformance shop doesn't mean they know everything. lol

The ECU will adapt to larger injectors but only slightly larger then what it is set for.

Hey Kyle where are you located?

Mike you would know, but the tip may not hold up with that turbo. I know you mentioned I couldnt go more than gt28 a while back, but I don't know the torque spike on a t3/t4.
For the cost to build the tip, im sure you could swap in a 5 speed

Yes. But either way he is going to need to build the motor and transmissin.
