Default Need Help: Oil Change, Drain plug question

I can not seem to find the oil drain plug on my 99 Audi A4 1.8t. This is my first oil change since I got the car a month ago. I looked at some audi pictures and it should like this:

But mine looks like this and there is no drain plug???

however there is a plug on the other side (Driver's side left side) but it doesn't really look like it was used before, so i didn't want to open it without first asking you guys.

Please help to clarify where is my drain plug here? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 30v so I can't say for sure, but that looks like it to me.

I wasn't sure if you were kidding or not... The thing that got me confused it on http://www.fastaudi.net/a4/index.html that person has the same exact car and engine but I don't have the drain plug that he has on the picture I posted earlier...

Where is the drain plug on Audi A4 1.8t quattro? I don't have the owner's manual

No I meant it in the first post because it looked like an oil drain, but after Techbod posted, I looked again and it looks like he's right - not to mention, he IS an Audi tech and knows far more than I do - I'd defer to him in pretty much any given situation.

I looks like the oil return line goes into the other side of it. What else could it be? It sure doesn't look like any of the air conditioning stuff to me.

that's the oil drain plug

quick edit: the first picture is deceptive because I see 3 different things and that 19mm bolt on that side doesn't look like its for oil drain, other things are AC/power-steering pipes because that's how they are made, the one going into the sump could be oil return or vent

Now... did you find out how to get the filter out without turning your subframe into a catch-pan?
