Default Need Help Water Pump Belt!

My belt that goes around my ac condenssor and the water pump snapped on my way out of town. My car is on the side of the road and I am trying to avoid a tow. I know if I had the car at home I could pull apart the front end and repace the belt but, is there a quick way to replace the belt on the side of the road, eliminating the cost of a tow? It is not the timing belt or the belt that goes around the power steering.

I have the 1.8 and the timing belt doen not go around the water pump. I have three belts on the front and nothing else goes around the water pump so it gives me hope that there might be a way of getting to this without disassembling the whole front end

Is the belt on the passenger side or driver, cuz the wp and ac are most defintly not run by the same belt on that engine.

here is a pic and its the belt on the right which would be drivers side. It is the belt that goes around the power steering and the water pump. My question is can you take off or loosen the water pump pulley without taking apart the front end?

Here's a pic of my car with your engine with the ac removed. As you can see it was on its own belt. So which belt are you talking about.

Ok no you'll need to take off the front clip. That belt tensions by putting the 2piece pulley back together and tightening it up.
