lol @ no armrest..
the under armrest cup holders changed some year.. my 97 pop up ones are pretty much pointless but the ones in my 99.0 work fine. just use a bottle for everything and use the passengers seat left lever to hold it, no fail there

Mine work (99.5) but I don't use them because I like to use my armrest and a can of soda wont fit under there with the rest down... Mod it to hold yo "piece!"

I dont even have the pop ups. I guess I should, but there's just a space there so I use it to hold my mp3 player. I'm thinking a few switches in there for random things.
+1 for a bottle between the passenger seat and the height adjustment lever.

When I go to Panda Express or somewhere with large cups, I usually just hold the cup in my left and steer AND shift with my right. Kinda hairy, but it works alright for the quiet roads.

Cell phone holder ftw. If you have an iPhone make a hard-mount charging or communications connection in there. Or put in your NAAWWWZZ switches.
