Need a little help
maybe i wasnt clear enough before. you CAN NOT run that turbo on a stock ecu. the turbo pushes a lot more air then the stock k03 which the software was written for, even at the same psi. the second you hit boost on that turbo with the stock injectors and software, you will run so lean, because you cant get enough fuel into the engine, it will detonate and you will permanently, and irreparably, destroy the engine. the wastegate isnt the problem.
I had a small question,would the car run at all without the MAF hooked up?
It will run right now if I threw the turbo on just not to have an exhaust leak,have not tried to make any boost with it but it will crank and run.
I ask this only wanting to know if the ecu could have been re mapped for this set up.
I can pull the injectors and see what they are I would guess stock but I am not 100%.
Just curious if the injectors would even pulse without the MAF hooked up?

when you unplug the MAF the car runs off of a baseline program (which is written for a k03 and stock hardware). so yes it will start, it wont run well, but it will start. and it will run even worse if you try to drive like that.
i suggest reading the stickies at the top of this form as there is a lot of info about what needs to be done when upgrading and such.

No I am simply trying to narrow down the ecu as I am now 100% sure its stock.
I plain to either go maf less ecu tune now if I can find it reasonable with injectors or I am going to search out a stock turbo/mani k03 and just upgrade the dv and then upgrade later on.
I dont want this to turn into the project that just sits while I stockpile parts.
I will be looking threw these forums to find the factory parts and get this thing back on the road.
