Ok I've been looking on ebay for 4 hrs for a power steering pump for my 97 audi a4 quattro 2.8 and I've found tons! They all say fits 97 audi a4 quattro but when I look at them it says fits from vin 200001 and my bin end in 148xxx I also found a 98 audi a4 quattro 2.8 power steering pump but it says the same thing....will it fit or no? I can't find any that fit before bin 200001

Im trying to find one that's off an audi or pastas that's cheaper than 140 is it hard to find one for a 97 audi a4 2.8??

 

at least you have a common model car.. trying to find parts for a 2.5TDI is a major pain. then again, its a 99, A4 so perhaps it doesn't really matter.

Just google salvage yards in your local area.. I did, and found cheap parts for my 2.8 without paying out the A$$ for shipping and inflated "OEM" parts.
