Need Radio help for stock system. Stuck in safe..

Okay when you get it wrong once, it puts a little dash in the bottom right corner, if you get it wrong twice it puts 2 dashes and is locked for an hour of run time.when i put the code in ones it initially has a dash, then it flashes "safe" and the dash goes away but still not unlocked..get it?
