Im thinkin about paintin my stock 98 A4 rims black... I want to eventually buy black rims but right now the cash isnt flowin lol... Do you guys think thats a good idea?


My car is oyster white... and my plan is to have everything blacked up except for the main body...

I think it would look good as long as you kept your ride really clean.

My gunmetal wheels kind of make it a pain in the *** for me because if i haven't washed my car in a while, the dirt on the tires makes them look lighter than the rim. And it's not a good look, having your wheels a darker color than the rubber. Just doesn't look right.

So as long as i use that "mega tire shiny spray" every time i wash my car it looks great.

yea, I figured I would do this too while my car is just sitting in the driveway collecting dust. I think my ronal L7's will look nice in black.

 

i dont know if mine are gona look good... mine arent the s4 rims... their the stock 1998 a4 1.8t rims...

 

I used krylon fusion and it works great. Even curbed them once due to a horrible White Castle design and it didnt hurt the paint at all.
