HELP just degreesed my engine and now it runs rough and the engine light is on due to the rough IDLE. What censor needs drying out?.

If you degreased your engine.. why didn't you dry it with compressed air at least?

The engine code should be on a tab near the timing belt cover it will a flat machined piece off the head on the driver side front. Should read AEB AWM or ATW.

Also.. You really shouldn't get the engine bay wet with a hose chances are you got the coil packs wet and they are causing misfires. IT should clear up after a few days/heat cycles.

Jason thanks will look tonight. As for the motor running rough it was my stupidity. I unplugged the modual above the air box and did not plug it in all the way and it came free.

If you order from ECS or Blau they will ask you what engine and send you the correct belt. Where are you getting your belt and stuff?

Have not orderd one yet just saw online that there was two different tooth numbers. Jason i am haveing a tough time finding that plate, it could be because i am looking in the wrong area. Do i need to remove the timming belt cover? thanks again.

Foud it it AEB engine, so what tooth belt do I need?. Also It seems like I am going through a court of oil every two weeks. Its not leaking or smokeing, it's not in my air filter, where els should I look?. Thanks for your asistance.
