Ok so I found out that the coil over kit is an h&r kit i also found out the car has an aftermarket dv. And that the spare ecu in the trunk was chipped by gaic it says awe k04 bone.... w.e that mean I donno maybe some one can help..... n I pulled the ecu cover off and the ecu in the car is from a junk yard...... I also got my vagcom cable today n plugged it up to my car it wouldn't rear **** plugged it up to my buddies car it worked fine....could it be because of the junkyard ecu.....

It probably means at one point the car may have had (or even better, still has) a Ko4 turbo in it, and that ECU was chipped for it. Or, the guy was planning to install one and never got around to it. I'm not sure how to tell the difference from the two while they're installed (anyone help him out), but if you have a Ko4 turbo already in there, then you pretty much did get your car for free, and you bought C/O's and a turbo with tuning, for 1,800 bucks. Not a bad grab.

i compaired it to my friends a4 n they look exactly the same... are they the same and only the impellers are diffrnt ????

Hey storm, did the vag com cable come yet??
and btw i think the axle nut is 17 mm, was on mine im sure. and autozone rents ball joint removal tool for 15 bucks or you can just buy it, I did and its very useful for the bottom pressure fitting control arms

yea i got it didnt read a thing in my car hooked it up to a frends read it fine donno why.... and it was a 14mm hex/allen done and had them both out and pressed just gatta finish putting the pass side tommarrow

now go out in your garage or whatever right now and try it!! lol, I am always out in my garage tinkering w/ crap until 3 in the AM

I don't want to lie to you because I'm not sure. I know they do look very similar, if not the same. Do some research and find out, and if you can't find anything, start a new thread.
