Agreed. When my left side rear bearing went started making noise, I had it replaced. Then the right one went out about two weeks later.

Best to do both at the same time.

Its definately left side, had to get a new cv axle for that side also had some slack in it. I guess with 107k you expect some of the original parts to start going getting ready to service front to back.

For future reference, the bearings are a press fit. Unless you got a bearing press, dont do it. Just bring the hub into a service station and 10 minutes later you're done. (Unless frozen of course...mine took a half hour haha)

+1 for just doing both..hell maybe even all 4. In 2 months, Ive had to do 2 rears and I have a front to do....lol

Well i replaced the left side cv axle and the left wheel bearing but still roaring so i guess its the other side.:

Neat trick my friend showed me when we replaced mine, was to put the new bearing in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Slid into the hub just like butter
