Default New to Audi fourms wheel bearing

I am trying to figure out what a roaring sound is. It sounds like i am running mud terrains on my b5.5 A4. Noise goes up with speed and stops when going left. Rotated tires which i thought was the problem since i have cheap federals but still the same. Is this the wheel bearing?

It's hard to figure out what side it is i am leaning toward the passenger side bearing. It roars when i turn right or go straight but stops around left turns.

You should replace both though, last time I replaced 1 bearing the other one started making noise a week after.

i dont know what side, but id agree at least one of the bearings are bad. i had a similar problem not long ago. it went bad at the same time i got new tires, so i blamed the tires at first. i waited for the tires to wear for a about a week then realized something else had to be wrong.

New to audi's too. My rear wheel bearing is loose and Im wondering if they like every other bearing where I can just tighten it up or is it a press in bearing

You can tighten up the bearing but don't do it yourself because I replaced a bearing that was installed 1 month before because the mechanic didn't do it job properly.
