There's next to no dicking around, if I needed an ATQ and found an AHA for even $100 cheaper I wouldn't hesitate for a second. And I'm gonna correct myself a bit, but technically some ATQ heads are actually different, the different being oil squirter on the cams. But the AHA did just fine without them so there's nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I really appreciate it.

Is there a good place online to get gaskets and parts on the cheap? I got some time to wait for shipping.
I got a Mitsu 3000GT, and a custom built vehicle, so I'm used to not having parts in stock at AutoZone.

Also, any good write ups for an engine pull?
Rather use a good user write up than AllData, with its black and white diagrams.

Interesting - I've always read about DBC to DBW conversions being a hassle because of the different pedal assemblies and such.

But you won't be converting to/from DBW, you'll just be swapping all the DBW bits off the blown motor.

There should be a few DIYs that cover pulling the engine, there's nothing really hard about it, just pull the rad support and yank the motor out the front.
