Default New Main Bearing Confusion, Any Ideas Which is right?

Hello all,
I am rebuilding my 2001 A4 AWM motor and as I was opening my Glyco brand main bearings (STD) I noticed it included 6 Upper bearing shells (with the oil hole and center groove), and only 4 bottom shells (perfectly flat). The bearings I removed (original) were 5 upper shells with the oil holes, and 5 lower flat bearing shells. I sent the bearings back thinking they were miss packaged at the manufaturer but when I received my replacement bearings, they were the same, 6 upper and 4 lower. Was there a TSB that replaced one of the lower bearings with a grooved style upper shell? I have two sets of bearings so if the setup that I removed is the proper setup, then I can take one of the lower shells from the second set. What would you guys reccommend? Unless there is some new way of doing things, I would assume the original setup is the proper way to go. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

Just in case you need to know, the part number for the bearings is as follows:
026198491 Main Bearing Set; Standard
