Best thing to do is just buy a cheap test pipe, just to see if it is the cat that is the issue. You can always buy another cat later and then sell the test pipe.

Oh ok I was wondering what that thing was....mine was on top of my airbox but it won't go in cause the rubber thing around it is messed up and can't pop it back in....and is it this part right here looks a little different then mine since it has light grate type of deal on it.

To the OP, it may be too late for this now, but i like to clear all the codes, run the car for a while and see which ones come back. Sometimes that helps to narrow down the root cause, all those lights/codes can be confusing if you try to diagnose them all at the same time.
