Best thing to do is just buy a cheap test pipe, just to see if it is the cat that is the issue. You can always buy another cat later and then sell the test pipe.

Misfire in #2 cylinder usually means the ICM is going bad.

It is the thing that was mounted to a heat sink that is mounted into the top of the air box.

Oh ok I was wondering what that thing was....mine was on top of my airbox but it won't go in cause the rubber thing around it is messed up and can't pop it back in....and is it this part right here looks a little different then mine since it has light grate type of deal on it.

and if it is $159.00 seems a little steep is there anywhere else I could get one for cheaper and before I do how can I check if its bad?

sorry for all the questions its my first audi thought I got a good deal but more troubles than I thought.

Ask and ye shall receive!

To the OP, it may be too late for this now, but i like to clear all the codes, run the car for a while and see which ones come back. Sometimes that helps to narrow down the root cause, all those lights/codes can be confusing if you try to diagnose them all at the same time.

How are the coilpacks? Try swapping the cyl. 2 pack with one of the others, and see if the misfire follows the coilpack.
