Default New ride: 1998 A4 1.8T quattro B5 - what good are the mods?

Here is my new ride! Wondering what the groups comments are on the car and mods:

1998 Audi A4 1.8T quattro (B5?)

17 in OZ wheels on Goodyear F1 All Season 225/45-17
Carbonio Cold Air Intake
APR Inlet Tubes for Turbo and Intake
Power Slot Rotors front and back
Hawk Brake Pads
TAP 50 HP Chip
Cat Back Milltek Exhaust

All new belts
Brand new clutch
Flywheel
Rear Main seal
Front Right bearing

All within last months

2 new keys (not yet programmed)

50% tint on rear windows
New windshield

Problems:
- AC not cold (possibly little hole in condenser in the front?)
- Air Bag Warning light is on ("di-electric grease" according to owner's mechanic?).

How would you guys rate the setup with respect to crank horsepower, torque, 1/4 mile times, 0-60 times?

Love to hear your comments.

Volker

Pretty solid outfit you're running. Get used to the dash glowing with air bag, check engine, brake, and other sorts of 'lights'.

Does it mean the mods are not "harmonizing" well with the on board diagnostic computers?
Or that the (or this?) A4 is prone to "light" issues?

Just means that like most of us, you'll inevitably have these warning lights coming on. Airbag likely due to a strained connector under a seat, check engine probably for a coil pack or SAP failure, brake warning because the sensors are a pain in the ***. Most of us have xmas tree dashboards from this stuff. He forgot to mention your low fuel light too, for when your sending unit takes a crap and randomly drops the needle down to the empty peg. All symbolic of B5 ownership

Wow, Jeremy: looks like I'm in for a ride.
Will check out the OBDII reader the owner handed over (looks like a VERY simple one).
Based on what I am hearing, I should be looking for a cheap good one, right? Any recommendations?

Uh, why? None of those mods would directly cause random idiot lights.

LOL, it's not all bad though. I have an ABS warning because I demolished a wheel speed sensor, but my ABS still works fine. My airbag light is on due to a strained connector that I have to re-zip, but no biggie. It's par for the course on these cars.

As for your reader, get VagCom. It's the best option for these cars. Go to www.ross-tech.com and download the appropriate version, and buy the interface cable on eBay, and you're set
