My car will NOT go 15K miles on the same plugs. HAHA

HS! 25 a plug, thats ridiculous. Just get some NGK's and change them every thousand miles and it will still be cheaper lol. I cant imagine that with the stock ignition system that a $25 plug will do much more good than a plain old NGK.

What happens in 3k miles that makes you need plugs at that rate?

They just don't produce as high of a spark. They could go longer but to get max performance out of them its best to change every oil change. They are copper so they are a softer metal which doesn't last as long... but they are cheaper! HAHA

I recommed NGK BKR7E's as someone else has mentioned. To be fair to all reviews, your car will run better with new plugs if gapped and installed right since most old plugs are dirty and fouled up. These NGK's are $2 each and worked well for me. The plus to changing spark plugs in our 1.8t's is that it's quite easy.

Yeah I wish they were that easy in my S4. I have to take out/move the coolant expansion tank and a few other stupid things to change mine. Takes almost 45 min or so...

I use NGK PFR6Q platinum plugs. They are hotter than the 7's.
7's might foul in the winter.

If you are running stock boost levels run the 6's. I am running 15-17lbs of boost in the S and need the 7's because they are colder.

Same here on my 2.8, but it's easier to do it on my Audi than it is on the fam's '99 Suburban.

Are Denso's good plugs for our cars?
