Default new speedtuning flash-2000 b5 1.8 atw

Just received my ecu back from ST today after jumping into the Passatworld group buy. I installed and drove it immediately and the difference was superb. It just jumps to 5k rpm with the additional power. Ran it for a short while and all was great. I then installed new spark plugs and proceeded to get a P1340 code throwing a CEL. But, the car ran perfectly and idled smoothly. It would fault immediately upon starting, twice. cleared it twice (I keep a code reader in my glove box), then came home and removed the plastic head cover and visually inspected the Cam Position sensor and engine speed sensor and just manually played with those wires and connections. Nothing wrong visually. I did notice that my plastic head cover may have been pinching the #4 (nearest the firewall) cylinder's COP wires, which I had moved per plug change. I left the plastic cover off and drove around for 30 minutes and had no more Fault Codes. I am shocked at the HP increase and smoothness of the new run. Group Buy Cost = $125flash + $10 shipping, insurance, Money Order, and two day ship to ST+$25 return one day ship=$160. I removed it on a Thursday, Oliver got it on Sat, he shipped it back out on Monday, and I was up and running Tuesday afternoon. I drove my 2003 F-150 while my a4 was down, so I wasn't too concerned about turn around time, but realistically you are going to be without your audi for: removal and ship day+transit day+ST work day+return ship day+arrival day by 3:00 pm=5 days.

191,xxx miles, stock turbo, no boost gauge, just seat of pants dyno, and new DV with higher pressure rating installed a couple of years ago.

Anyone with a p1340 suggestion?

I just drove 30 miles and there is no p1340 fault today.

According to my resources, that's a camshaft position sensor code. I've heard hit an miss things about the ST chip for 1.8T's but I'm glad to see you're enjoying yours.

Please, someone, tell me what all the problems are with a ST flash? OK, I can't upgrade. If I wanted to pretend to upgrade 'at some point (build)' I would maybe go with the much more expensive tune, which does indeed come with a sticker I can put in my rear window. I wonder why all we stupid people keep going with group buys? Just sayin. Sorry I paid less.

I ran the ST chip for 4 years without an issue.

I've got about 1,500 miles on the new chip. I'm not racing anyone from stop light to stop light with only 190 HP now, but this is a very cheap horse power upgrade for KO3 and very usable. At 192,700 miles I'm not going to ever build this a4 up with BT, and it is my commuter car, so I'm happy without 300 HP. The extra 30-40 HP is quite nice on the highway when you need to pull from 60 mph to 75 mph. just step on it and it goes. Up hills, same thing. Still getting around 30 mpg combined. I even got the car inspected today, thus I'm code free with all readiness good. Sweet!
