A new twist to my posts
So, in the past all of my topics have really been about how to fix my car and trying to resolve what is wrong with it. though I still don't know for sure what is causing the issues, I think I would also like to start posting about fixing the car that I have now owned for a year now, and how I plan on making things better and the upgrades that I would like to do. This is going to sound very general but what kind of upgrades do you guys recommend me doing to my car, i've already got a cat back exhaust kit. I have a 96 2.8l 12v MQ.
Plans so far: Replace Trunk deck lid...PO had a massive spoiler...no...wing...new front bumper, paint job, new suspension and a lot to the interior.
I know its sorta vague...but any suggestions?

I've been looking in there and have found a lot of information, thank you. I've got a couple questions for you. I saw in another post that you have customized your seats and it didn't really cost you that much, how did you go about that process, I've searched and can only find your final pictures not the process that you went through. Also, you seem to be one of the most knowledgeable people around the forums and I was wondering if you have heard of anyone switching out the Driver Information Display to one that actually has the little screen there, because the one that I have now only has a few little lights like the gas, check engine, and a couple others. Do you happen to have any idea of whether that will work or not?
Post up pictures of the car so we know what you're working with.
If you haven't done so already, get so me facelift tail lights. Also some 17's or 18's would be awesome.
Jeremy is a walking Audi thesaurus.

ill take some better ones too
This is my Dash, I'd like to be able to switch out that area where the 4 lights are as well as switch out the thermometer and odometer display, but I don't know what these are called, nor do I know if I can change these out. And yes Jeremy seems to be incredibly knowledgable
It did me too man, he also had 6 stick on ports on the side and a stick on hood scoop....ha oh and stick on chrome "accents" around the wheel wells
I agree with these guys - very glad you saved this car.
As for the display, it can be done. I don't know all the requirements for it but it was being discussed in a thread in the last few days. I do know you'll need the cluster and the wiper stalk, and will have to be creative with the wiring.
On my seats I used a spray dye from SEM - they have to be free of conditioning oils and clean. I didn't condition the seats for quite awhile and right before I masked them for the dye, I wiped them with a damp cloth. Then it was mask, spray, dry, five coats. Pulled the masking and reinstalled them, and that was it. It's a very easy product to work with.

Dear god look at that thing, i do agree very nice save and wow. you could actually bolt that seat to your floor and pad it. make it a nice chair for gaming! and sorry, that fart can has got to go, throw two tips on it and call it a day IMO.
