Default NEWB Alert

Hey guys,

I am completely new to this whole Audi scene and I have read several references to a "facelift". will someone please walk me through when this took place, what the differences are, etc. It would be greatly appreciated as I move forward to working on my wife and I's car.

Thanks in advance,

Main facelift was in 99.5 cars and up, here's a link to most cosmetic differences:
Mark's A4 Quattrobonium - A4 Differences
Some signs are one piece headlights, and clear side markers among others

Thanks for the info.

Will the one-piece headlights fit in the prefacelift cars? Will the bumpers swap? And are the side markers the same size and everything?
Basically could one pick and choose to integrate the two?

Thanks!

Some parts you can interchange. Putting one piece was lights into a pre-facelift is a very common mod. You have to trim the fender a bit and buy a new connector but its possible, I believe pre side markers are squares while face lifted are ovals but I may be wrong.
