Newbie - Vacuum hoses to A/C
I am new to the forum and to Audi ownership. I purchased my '96 A4Q 2.8 in May and have already performed some common maintenance - with the help of my scanner and Bentley book. Most recently, I replaced the IAV after reading the code. While doing this, I realized that one of the factory vacuum hoses (which has multiple t-connectors and goes to the A/C through the fire wall) was disconnected from the nipple on the manifold.
I found the hose in the Bentley book, but I am not sure if I need to buy a replacement hose from Audi or if I can make one myself with splitters. I found the depiction under the Vacuum connections for Fuel Injection and Ignition.
Any ideas? If I can make it myself, are there any suggestions on the type of hose.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks, that does help. The OEM is hard plastic with a sheating over it. Based on what I have seen in my service manual it also ties into a check valve pre EGR valve. Since it hits different end points and valves all behind the engine next to the fire-wall, I did not know if I need to buy something from the dealer and get hosed on cost.
