Default No Available Performance Timing Belt??

Hello, I'm new here, I have a 2000 Audi A4 1.8t with the ATW engine and 153 tooth timing belt. (I just bought it for a steal with only 77k miles in great condition! Full service records and all!)

I am not able to find any gates, or other for that matter, high performance timing belt anywhere, it's only standard OE, the only ones I find for performance are the 150 tooth?? I'm located in the US. any help would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be part of this community!

If anyone has it, it'll be these guys:

https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4...ming_Belt_Kit/

They sell high quality parts. I bought an "Ultimate" kit from them and it was of the highest quality at a pretty low price.

(Edit: Never use scrap yard belts for anything)

Do not use a junkyard tbelt EVER!

OP, no one makes a performance timing belt for the 058 block that I am aware of. Everything is for 06a.

+1 When I read the OP, for some reason I thought he was looking for a "Timing Chain".

Obviously junk yard belts shouldn't be used for anything.

My fault.
