No Front License Plate Topic
I got a euro plate and had a cop bust a U-turn to pull me over for it. Instead of having to pay a fine, I was pulled out of my car, handcuffed, and arrested and taken back to the station. My license was suspended at the time..however I had privileges and was leaving work, but was working outside of my listed work times. So $93 bucks doesnt sound to bad now huh.
I still have my euro and have passed countless cops in the same city, and many others, and have not had any encounters. That cop must of just been having a bad day.
My opinion on the topic, it is a ridiculous law! Why? Because it is one of those laws that is only enforced when a cop "feels like it". I work at a car wash and 80% of the cars we clean are Audis, BMWs, and Mercedes. I can safely estimate that maybe 1/25 of those manufacture cars have a front license plate. Yet do cops bother to pull over any of these middle-age men/women for this reason? Never.
