Question No power

I have a problem with my Audi ('99 quattro 1.8T).

I left for europe for about 4 months and came back a few days ago. The car lost all its power. I know i changed the oil 1000 miles ago, but did not change the air filter because i was planning to get a K&N Air Intake (eventually didn').
Also I've never changed my fuel filter. I've had the car for 1 year (9,000 miles).

I finally ordered the K&N Cold Air intake yesterday. It should come in a few days. Also I called Car X and they told me they will change my fuel filter for 60 bucks (labor only). Is that a good price? Also i found the DIY for the fuel filter... but i don't think i can get under the car.

My question is ... can the 2 filters be the reason for my lack of power...? The car barely accelerates... what else could be wrong with it?

Or bad gas. 4 months isn't THAT long, but it's a possibility.

Well I filled it up with V Power...

idk if it's the turbo ... i hope it isn't. No clue what a CEL is.

I also have a problem with breaks... changed them a while ago but they're really bad. Should I bleed them?

You should diagnose the problem first.

Replaced the fuel filter yesterday... which has never been replaced before (70 000 miles).

Also put up a K&N air intake...

all i can say is that the ride is pretty smooth again.

about the breaks.. my rear rotors are done... any suggestions?

also... do those injector cleaning procedures work? i dont wanna spend 60 - 80 bucks for nothing

If I were you, I'd try getting a bottle of Lucas or STP fuel injector cleaner first before spending 60 or 80 on cleaning your injectors. I'd also check to see if the cats were clogged. I'd also check the plugs, I checked mine a week ago on my 2.8 and they were pitch black.
