no turn indicators, windshield wipers/washers and no fogs
Ok so i have no turn indicators, windshield wipers/washers, and no fog lights in my 01 a4 1.8tq.
I checked ALL of my fuses and they are ALL good and I replaced the ones that were the indicators, wipers/washers and fogs and still nothing. and i checked indicators on both sides and front and back are out as also in the cluster, but my hazards do work in the cluster and on the outside of the car, so its not the bulbs. so im thinking that its the relay (searched on here and someone had a similar problem like 1yr+ ago but the answer was the relay and didnt say what one) so now im asking what relay is the one that goes to all these things (turn indicators, windsheild wipers/washers and fog lights) and if they are on the same one?
I called my local dealership and they cant help me over the phone but i can bring it in for a look at for a fee. i just need to know what one and if its a relay. i cant really think of anything else. if a tech or somebody could help me out that would be great. i've got a bentley maunal and cant find much about each specific relay.
Thanks
Nick

The relay is the red triangle in the dash, just remove the radio using the radio removal keys, then push out the relay from behind.
However, the relay has absolutely nothing to do with the wipers. You still may need to replace the relay for the malfunctioning turn signals though.
I have a feeling its a control module, plus you should pull the fault codes with the vag com.

^^^thanks... so it could a number of relays? and it happened when i accidentally grounded a wire in my fuse box to the meatal frame around the fuse box with the key in the ignition. and my CEL has been on since i need to replace my cam tensioner(have it just need to install it) so i wouldnt have noticed if another code came up.
so your saying that the relay for the signals is the hazard lights button? and its behind that or it is that?
Thanks
Nick
