Default Noise with clutch in - clicking

I've got a fairly recent problem on my car - after I've driven the car for a while (more than like 20 minutes) and I'm letting it sit for a minute or two to cool off, I noticed that when I put in my clutch, there is a clicking noise that seems to follow the engine speed - it speeds up if I rev the engine. It doesn't always happen but it seems to happen more on warmer days. Any ideas? This is for the 1.8T listed in my sig.

Is it the original clutch and pressure plate?

The clutch and flywheel were replaced like 30-40k ago.

Interesting. I assume a new throw-out bearing was also used...?

Sounds like you'll need to get someone under there while it's happening.

Not sure about the throw out bearing, is that a likely part to cause this problem?

I'll try to get it up on stands and listen to it when I get a chance though.

Sounds like a throw-out bearing issue since the slave puts more pressure on it when you push the pedal in.

general rule of thumb is, if the noise is there when the pedal is pushed half way down its a throw out bearing, if its there when you push the pedal all the way down, its the pilot bearing. More likely a throw out bearing though.

OK great, thanks for the advice guys I'll look into a throwout bearing or pilot bearing.
