Today when i got home i opend the hood and the hot side the turbo was glowin red? is that harming the turbo or the car? it is a k03/t28 hybrid with stage 2 speedtuning

 

it's normal. i hope you let it cool down b4 you shut the engine off

 

yea exactly what hiwords just said...
its normally glowing cherry red when you give it a couple nice runs and really push it...
and yea i hope you let it cool down at least until the glowing red was gone and then some..

 

yeah i always let it sit at idle for 5mins when done driving need to find a good turbo timmer tho it gets old after awhile??

 

Don't even think about putting your hands down near there. As I've noticed b/w my A4 and other cars, the 1.8T engine gets really hot!
