I think there should be a next time very soon

 

There will be a summer meet too. I'll get in touch with you with some proposed dates and make sure you're free for the dates we set.

 

There should be a reality show where we get 10 audi guys and throw them under one roof. Give them every tool there is and have them compete of who will have the best car. The winner will get brand new RS4. We will have webisodes and get a lot of viewers.

 

Almost a week left........anticipation building..........can't wait.....

 

Gonna be fun Too bad you guys aren't closer. Bill and I are doing a B6 downpipe install and a TRE and vacuum system overhaul on my car tomorrow, then Tim's SAP and timing system job on Saturday. Just another day in upstate NY

As everyone who's been to a meet knows, there's always tech going on and this will be no different. We're doing some work on Erik's car this time and anyone else who has relatively minor servicing/mods to do (we're not overhauling control arms and porting turbo housings here), bring your stuff and chances are you'll have a couple guys that are itching to get dirty. Don't worry about tools - God knows we've got you covered on that. Be warned, if you leave one of Keith's tools lying in the driveway when you're done he'll probably force it into one of your orifices. But bring up your stuff and there's a decent chance it can be handled. Also, if you have parts or are looking for parts, post up what you have or need, and someone else who needs your stuff or has what you need can reply in kind - come to an agreement and everyone is happy. Guys have scored good stuff here in the past and there's no reason anyone else wouldn't. It's a good way to unload spares or find something you need, get to preinspect, and not deal with shipping times and costs.

I have a lot of various parts, as do the other local guys, and the local salvage yard has several B5s in various states of disassembly. Prices are good and I never met any Audi owner at a meet who wasn't down for a trip out there. Again, we have all the tools. Anyone interested in a run to the yard next Saturday?

I have my 19s available but would also sell my 17" Avus wheels to get tires for the 19s. Four wheels painted gunmetal with half (at least) life on the tires (mounted, balanced, and ready to roll) plus a fifth silver Avus wheel with a brand new tire. I have a lot of Audi electronics modules, miscellaneous parts, bulbs, sockets, switches, etc. I have a flip-face DVD headunit with media interface box and iPod cable, an Alpine CD deck with Alpine Sirius tuner and DIN cable (I'd sell either and keep the other for my car), a black leather rear lower seat cushion in great shape, and who knows what else.

 

I want the Avus wheel as a spare. I bend mine dont ask how lol`
