Occasional cyclical rubbing/vibration coming from the front
This is the last of my mystery problems that I need to fix in order to get my car running in top shape. I can hear the sound more from inside the car than if the windows were down. The rubbing/vibration can be felt on the floor and through the pedals. It happens at around 20-65 mph. sometimes going straight, and gets louder and more harsh when banking a high speed right turn, not slow speed. The sound does not change if I apply the brakes. I'm torn between an inner cv joint or bearing (I'm hoping it's not something in the differential). I have a new passenger side axle because the inner boot on that one went to hell and I was hoping to fix the problem with that, but I guess I'm not lucky. Maybe the other one could still be bad?
