Original T belt lasted 126K. Just had the new one done. My mechanic said the OEM belt "had chuncks missing" I bought the car useda little overa year ago and was unable to track down any service records and/or owners. FYI: the T-belt kit came from ECS tuning and my mechanic said the gaskets were poor quality so he purchased ORM gaskets.

 

OEM gaskets not "OPM gaskets"

wow, chunks missing? i did one on a 1.8t with 137k on it a couple of weeks ago and it was def the original. it was starting to seperate right down the middle

 

i have a 99 1.8t with 92k and it has never been replaced. i need to get it replace b4 its 2 late[:@]

 

I replaced mine at 90k on my old B5 and I sweated bullets until it was done.
