OEM T-belt lasted 126k

what gaskets? the only gasket in the kit is for the water pump and i didnt think it was poor quality. how much were you charged for said OEM gaskets lol

Yeah i need to do that too. I'm a touch under87K on the original belt.I just gotta save up the cash so the mechanic doesn't have to break my legs when i can't pay him lol

two wheel bearings, t-belt and the new gasket cost me $8.00.

grand total $675.00

wait how much did he charge you for labor?? if the total was that cheap+the kit from ECS

My buddy has about 95K on his, still OG...However mine is starting to crack at 65 WTF!!!!

F*ck this thread is scary, I thought anything over 90k was "Your t-belt is done for" knida thing....I have a 96 2.8 and purchased from 2nd owner, first owner supposedly had tbelt done ~80k but no records. I bought at 103k now at 110k......I really, really, really dont want to pay (ie cant really afford....) to have the tbelt done now, especially if I dont need it. I was thinking there was a 1 in a million chance it couldve lasted this long but apparently not...so I could be running on the original...great.

correction: $675.00 was not including the T-belt kit from ECS. I think his labor was about $50.00/hr. The car idles much smoother now, little to noticking at all.
