'96 A4, starting to see oil drip from the oil cooler section.
Quick question, bear with me guys would it be possible to change just the O-ring/Gasket
than the whole oil cooler? I've read post regarding this issue mostly
guys changed the whole part. Wouldjust the gasket alone address the leaking issue?

Didn't caused you problemafter?(Leak or Oil moisture)

 

I didn't have any problems afterwards. Even if you do have problems; (IMO)all you are risking is another oil change.
