Hey guys,

So I changed my spark plugs yesterday and I noticed there was oil on 2 of my spark plugs. The one closest to the front of the car, lets call that 1, and then #3 also... 2 and 4 had no oil whatsoever.

The oil was mostly on the bottom part of the plug, where the electrode is. Other than the oil there was no dirt or anything.

Is this bad? What is causing this? Anything I should do about it?

I'm going to go take a look later to see if any oil has gotten onto the new plugs.

probably the center valve cover gasket... whatever the heck it was called.

Or maybe you had your oil changed at Jiffy Lube. and they couldn't figure out what to do.

 

change your valve cover gasket, its the centre one that is leaking.
