Hi, I own a 98 A4 2.8 Quattro and long story short I need to replace the oil pan. Does any have any experience replacing the oil pan? It does not seem like a difficult job. I guess I just have to replace the bottom piece.
So, just like with everything else there is some complexity.

First of all, in order to get the right part I have to know if its a 007799 and under chassis number or 007800 and over chassis number. Does anyone know where I can locate this number. I looked on in the manuals but could not find anything?
