Alright so recently my oil light has been coming on when i take hard turns also i smell oil wen i am stopped and the heat is on nothing wen it is off i just did an oil change with full synthetic and i replaced the heater core due to corrosion so i havent noticed anything before any ideas on the issue? There are no oil puddles under the car and no sign of a leak anywhere oil was low and i put more in twice now

 

Smoke? How does your coolant look?

 

Chances are you're burning oil or losing it from the turbo, and the smell (a separate issue) is from a bad valve cover gasket allowing the oil to seep out and burn off on the exhaust manifold.

 

No smoke burns clean and its a v6 valve cover gasket on right side did have a bit of seepage i cleaned it so i can check it tonight and make sure its fresh

 

Which oil light is coming on? Low level or low pressure?

 

Its the oil can picture so im assuming low hahaim thinking maybe the pump is clogged a bit or something and the gasket is making it low too

 

there are two oil can icons, what color?

It doesnt come on very often tho maybe like 3 times a month mcgovs do u have any idea what i should do to fix it?
