Oil temp also not working, where can I get a oil temp sensor (ATW engine)
Hi,
I ordered a new temp sensor(the new green one, coolant or whatever) last week and was telling a friend(with an A4) about it. I happened to mention that ALSO my OIL temp guage never moved either, asking if that was normal. He said his was the same and never moved, but that's cause his was broken.
So I've been looking for what's wrong with my oil temp gauge, probably the sensor/sender, anyone know where I can find a Oil Temp Sensor/sender for my year? I can only find other engine codes oil senders, can't find one for my ATW. Help.

I can only find ones for an AEB. Dont know if that will work since they share the same block, but like said, it only says for aeb engine code.

You know I'm happy you brought this up... My oil never registers on the temp gauge either...

cool, I only read this quick as I am at work, but doing a search on themostatic sandwich plate I found little info except that you can get a new one with a new FMIC.
But I think maybe I will pull out my old oil sensor/sender and look at the part number to see if I can find a match to the parts I can find
