omg... alright, so my rack is shot. leaking a pretty good amount out of the passenger side boot. i coudln't get the bracket bolts off the old hose, so i just disconnected it and plugged it with a rag so it doesn't leak onto the im, and routed the new 5/8th hose under the timing belt cover like the old one. i put in the audi special expensive ps fluid, and most of it came back out lol.. its very hard to bleed the system with a leak... anyways, the whine went away and hopefully it leaks less... i'm thinking lucus.
