since ecs sells the radios for cheap enough new with the code get one from them. the junkyard one won't have a code. The chitin won't show you any help in the wiring world. someone might have to snap some pictures for you. i just hardwired my alpine ida-x305s into the wires and bundled the rest and tucked it out of the way. SO now is a good time to go aftermarket

for free if you have a great person on the phone. you also need the vin no matter what. It will be in the trunk behind the little door where the toolbox should be.

i got the vin, and the sn number, but the place was closed when i called. have to wait till monday now. still cant find the speaker wires. P.O.ed about that. but i cant test them till i get it out of safe mode. and whats really gonna suck is that i unplug my battery every time i stop somewhere for longer than 20 minutes. think the steering column as a short in it somewhere. if anyone has a turnsignal/cruise control/highbeam lowbeam switch they would sell me let me know. i need it for my 96 a4 b5. thanks

You could just call it a turn signal stalk in the future to make it easier on yourself . I have a couple of them but am not 100% sure if they work since the guy I got the car from was... An idiot

just for fun dirty - you should take a picture of your car and post it and we can play a game called see whats missing. it sounds like fin and it might help you out some how. do you have the sport package or the 4 spoke wheel. you going to need a t55 to get the steering wheel off just fyi. i think its different on the non sport tho? ask imthedevil he will know, my gently shows a nut on one of them.
